Beijing Day Trips

Beijing Day Trips took 6 friends on a day trip to the Great Wall at Jiankou for the 5km hike along the Wild Wall. It had snowed the week before, so on the half hour trek up the mountain we could feel and hear the fresh snow crisp under our shoes.

In the beginning it was bitterly cold, but as soon as we were on top of the Wall the sun and the climbing warmed us. We even had a sandwich lunch sitting in the sun against the wall of the ruins of a watch tower!
