Beijing Day Trips

Beijing Day Trips went on a Wild Wall Exploration Tour to discover new routes on the wild wall and have a bit of excitement, fun and adventure!

We started up at one of the trails leading up to the frontside of Jiankou. It turned out to be a very steep ascent which involved straight up rock climbing at some parts. After 2.5hrs we finally reached the top of the mountain, in other words the wall.

We hiked all the way to Mutianyu Great Wall so could do a somewhat relaxing walk on the restored part, but then went rough again to climb down the backside of Mutianyu.

All in all a 15km 8hr hike over mostly the Wild Wall filled with a lot of sun, sweat and FUN!
