On May 25, 2008 Beijing Day Trips took 3 persons on a day trip to the Great Wall at Mutianyu.
The weather was again great with beautiful blue skies and we did some exploring of the wild wall. Afterwards we had jiaozi lunch in Huairou Town and we drove back to the city via the Olympic Green.

On May 24, 2008 Beijing Day Trips took 4 persons on a day trip to the Great Wall at Mutianyu.
In the afternoon we drove by the Olympic Green on our way to the Summer Palace where we had an Imperial lunch. To finish the day in style we sailed along the Imperial Canal back to Beijing.

On May 17, 2008 Beijing Day Trips took take 2 persons on a day trip to the backside of the Great Wall at Mutianyu for a hike along the Wild Wall.
Afterwards we hotpot lunch in Huairou Town and visited the Olympic Green.

On May 16, 2008 Beijing Day Trips took 3 persons on a day trip to the backside of the Great Wall at Mutianyu for a hike along the Wild Wall.
We had sandwich lunch at the ruins of one of the watch towers and took the tobogan run down to descend the restored part of Mutianyu Great Wall.
On our way back to Beijing we visited the Olympic Green as well as the Drum Tower and Houhai area for drinks and dinner at a Hakka restaurant.

On May 2, 2008 Beijing Day Trips took 2 persons on a day trip to the Great Wall at Jiankou for the 5km hike along the Wild Wall.
On the way we had sandwich breakfast at one of the many watch towers along the way. After coming back down on the front side of Jiankou Great Wall, we drove to the Great Wall at Huanghua for another hike along the Wild Wall before returning to Beijing.

On April 28 Beijing Day Trips took 3 people on a day trip to the Summer Palace.
The boat took us along the Imperial Canal to the pittoresk South Gate of the Summer Palace; from there we followed the West shore of the lake and had a sandwich lunch at the shore with a bottle of chilled Chardonnay.
In the Summer Palace we visited the famous sights such as the Marble Boat and of course the Long Corridor. Via the Olympic Green we returned to the hotel.
