First of all: don’t forget your happy self!
Of course it depends greatly on the season what to wear. The Summers in Beijing are hot and humid and the Winters are cold, dry and it can be windy, especially on the Great Wall.
When visiting the “Wild Wall” it is a good idea to wear some sturdy shoes. If you have booked the hike over Jiankou Great Wall you need minimum class A hiking shoes. For other Beijing Day Trips there are no shoe requirements.
Another idea is to bring some sunscreen as well as a pair of sunglasses. This is applicable to all seasons!
Please don’t forget to bring your camera, so when you are back home you can look back at the memorable stay you had in Beijing!
Although most will be included in the trip-fee, it can be a good idea to bring some money for refreshments or souvenirs and make sure you checked your insurance!
