Beijing Day Trips to the Summer Palace

How about visiting the Summer Palace just like the Emperor did back in the days?

If you book your excursion to the Summer Palace with Beijing Day Trips, you can be sure to enter the largest park in Beijing via a unique way!

We will sail along the Imperial Canal to the South Gate of the Summer Palace with it’s distinguishing bow bridge!

There are actually 2 different ways to travel along the Imperial Canal.

One, for smaller groups of up to 20 people, is via the lakes in the Purple Bamboo Park, where we will transfer onto another boat that takes us further to our end destination: the gorgeous Summer Palace, with its pittoresk bow bridge at the south entrance.

For bigger groups we book a boat that leaves from a different location a bit further South, near the CCTV Tower.

As an additional option we can take a picnic basket with sandwiches and wine to have lunch on board or in the Summer Palace.

Catering for a larger group is also possible; details available upon request.

After giving you enough time to explore the Summer Palace, we will leave by private car or bus, depending on the amount of people in your party.

The day trips to the Summer Palace by boat are only possible from the beginning of April until mid October.

Alternatively, we can of course also take you to the Summer Palace by private car. As an extra option, we then offer to take you through the Olympic Green where you can have a look at how the Olympic Stadiums are developing with all the great architectural highlights!

The price per person depends on the number of people, so please contact us for more information or with any of your questions.
