On September 30 Beijing Day Trips took 7 people of ‘ISH’ on a day trip to the Great Wall at Mutianyu, where we ventured briefly on the non-restored Wall.
After the visit to the Great Wall we drove via the Olympic Green to catch a glimpse of the Olympic Stadiums, such as the Bird’s Nest (National Stadium), the Water Cube (National Aquatics Center) and the National Fencing Gymnasium. We dropped the group off at the Summer Palace so they could leisurely stroll through it themselves.
ISH is a ‘troupe’ that performs integrating disciplines from the street and club circuit. They were invited by the Dutch Embassy to perform during the cultural festival in the October Holiday. At the festival there was a Holland Village to celebrate 35 years diplomatic relations between The Netherlands and China.
While on the Great Wall the group did quite a couple of cool stunts and they even did a “promo-video” for Beijing Day Trips. Please have a look:
